A folder

A window with one single field: the name of a folder, twenty characters at most. It serves to create one or to rename an existing one.

Two ways in

From My folders, through the New button to create one, or by clicking the name of a line to change it.

Renaming has no consequence: the horses carrying that folder keep it, it is the label whose text changes. You can therefore rename freely, without reclassifying anything.

Choosing a name

It only appears for you, and only in the filters of your lists of horses. Two pieces of advice drawn from use:

• A name that reads well in a drop-down list: short, with no useless prefix. “Competition” rather than “Horses for competitions”.
• A name that states a decision or an objective rather than a quality. “For sale” will make you act; “good horses” will tell you nothing in three weeks' time.
