Upload a picture

The window that adds an image to your library. Three things to fill in, and the last is a commitment.

The file

png or jpg format, 5 MB at most. Another format or a file that is too heavy is refused, and the window tells you which of the two is the problem.

The category

Four choices — Horse, Avatar, Clan, Free — and it is not a simple filing: the category says what the image is intended for, and it is what decides where it will be offered to you afterwards. An image declared as Horse will not appear in the choice of an avatar.

Free is there for the images you only want to host and share, without assigning them to anything.

The “Picture complies” box

It is compulsory: without it, nothing is uploaded. And it is not a formality, because it commits two distinct things.

The content. An image intended for a horse must represent a horse; an image intended for your card must be neither offensive nor vulgar. The site is read by players of all ages.

The rights. You declare that the image belongs to you, or that its author has explicitly allowed you to publish it. An image found on a search engine does not meet that condition, even if it is beautiful and even if nobody complains.

That is the rule to take from this window: your horse's picture has to be a picture you have the right to publish.

Afterwards

The image joins your library, where it stays available: see My pictures. If you came through the picture choice window, it is in addition assigned immediately — see Choose a picture.
