Forums
The list of forums. Each card gives the forum's title — clickable, it opens its discussions —, the date of the last message and a summary. The list is ordered by activity: the forum somebody has just written in is at the top.
Two menu entries, one single page
The Communicate menu leads here by two paths, and it is the same page in both cases:
- General forums, which shows the forums open to all and the game's news. It is that entry which carries the counter of unread news.
- Competition forums, which shows those the competition managers run.
The only difference is the category criterion set on arrival. You remain free to change it afterwards: the page is the same, the filters are the same, and you can display everything at once by removing that criterion.
The first habit: look at the filters
That is what explains most of the “I can't find the forum for…”. When it opens, the list is already filtered on three criteria:
- the category, according to the menu entry you came in by;
- your language;
- your world.
Nothing is missing: you just have to change or remove a criterion. The three categories are General forums, Competition forums and Clan forums.
The two other criteria are worth knowing about, because they hide things as well. A clan's forums appear only for its members — those of other clans do not exist for you. And some forums are declared for all worlds or for all languages: those stay visible whatever your setting.
The four kinds of forum
- The general forums, open to all: the game's public square.
- The news, where only those in charge open discussions. That is where the game's changes are announced, and the menu counter counts precisely the news you have not read. Opening the news forum in your language puts that counter back to zero.
- The competition forums, which the competition managers run: that is where they publish their rules, their calendars and the conditions on which they award their medals. They have their own menu entry, Competition forums, and it is worth going through before entering a horse in a competition you do not know.
- The clan forums, private: see Clan's forums.
My favorites
If you have put discussions in your favorites, a My favorites card is added at the head of the list and leads there. It appears only in that case: with no favorite, no card. See My favorites.
