Forum topic

A forum's card, opened by the Informations button. It holds three elements, and the third is the most important.

What it gives

• The forum's title and summary: what is talked about there.
• The list of its moderators, each nickname leading to their card. They are the ones to warn when a message goes off the rails, and the ones to ask to pin a discussion.
• The forum's terms and conditions.

The terms

Read them once before writing in a forum you do not know. They are not decorative: that is where the moderators say what is done and what is not done in their place, and the customs vary a great deal from one forum to another.

That is particularly true of the competition forums: a manager often states their entry rules, their calendar and the conditions on which their medals are awarded. That information exists nowhere else in the game — no screen carries it.

For a moderator

Two more buttons.

Change gives access to the title (fifty characters), the summary (two hundred) and the terms. Keeping the terms up to date is part of the work, and a forum whose terms are empty is badly administered: one has nothing to hold up against somebody who goes too far.

Delete this forum appears only on a clan forum — the general and competition forums are not deleted from here. The operation erases the forum and all its content, and it is irreversible: the window says so, and it is true.

To create a clan forum, see Clan's forums. For the discussions, Discussions.
