Medals

The display case of medals. One card per medal, from the most recent to the oldest.

The same window serves three kinds of holder: a horse, a player or a clan. It opens from the card of one of the three, and shows only that one's medals.

The world selector

For a player or a clan, which exist in all three worlds, a selector at the top lets you move from Almina to Bezir or Chorus without closing the window. Medals are particular to each world: a player who has some in all three reads them here one after the other, and his full record is the sum of the three.

For a horse, no selector: a horse belongs only to its world, so the window shows its medals where it lives.

What you read there

Each card says the medal — gold, silver, bronze —, what earned it and when. For the list of everything that brings medals and the detail of the escalation of quinto medals, see My medals.

Why look at other people's

Medals are the only record information that does not come down to money. On a horse for sale, they say whether it has won cup finals — which its earnings do not distinguish from an accumulation of small regulated races. On a player, they say what he is good at: a manager with medals is not a breeder with medals.

Beware, though: a horse's medals disappear with it on its final retirement, whereas its earnings stay written on its memorial card. An old pedigree can therefore hide a champion of which nothing remains on display.
