Give sulkies

The window that moves sulkies from one wallet to another. It serves four purposes, and the sentence displayed at the top always says which one is under way — read it, it is what announces the tax.

The four situations

FromMovementTax
My clan, Give to the clan buttonfrom your account to the clan's pursenone
My clan, Give button on a member's linefrom the clan's purse to that member10%
Sulkies, Give sulkies buttonfrom your account to any player10%
Sulkies, Transfer sulkies buttonfrom your account on one world to your account on another10%

Two things to take from this table. First, the tax is levied on arrival, and not on the giver: announce 10,000 sulkies, and the beneficiary gets 9,000. Second, only one movement escapes the tax: the one that feeds a clan's purse. Everything that comes out of it is cut by a tenth.

That is why the common purse is not an account in which to park your savings: each round trip costs 10%. See The clans.

Filling it in

The balance of the paying wallet is displayed: yours, or the clan's as the case may be. You enter an amount, at least 1 sulky, and depending on the situation:

  • the recipient is already named — your clan, or the member whose line you clicked;
  • or else you type their username, which has to be exact: a username that cannot be found makes the operation be refused;
  • for a transfer between worlds, you choose the source world and the target world, and the balance of each is displayed as you go. The two cannot be the same, and the game changes one automatically if you choose the same twice.

An amount above the balance is refused, and the balance is checked again at the moment of confirming: if another expense has gone through in the meantime, the operation fails and the real balance is displayed to you again. Nothing can therefore be spent twice.

Before confirming

A gift is final: there is neither cancellation nor recovery. Check the username, and check the amount — it is the window in the game where a typing mistake costs the most.

Both movements leave a trace in the statements, under the Clan-Donate and Clan-Withdrawal accounts for a clan: see Account statement.
