Refuse a reserved purchase

The confirmation before refusing a horse that has been reserved for you.

What can be refused, and what cannot

A refusal concerns only reserved sales — those a player has addressed to you alone. A fixed-price sale or an auction cannot be refused: one simply ignores them.

If your selection contained sales of that kind, the window sets them aside and tells you so by counting them. What is left is the list of horses that really can be refused, with their price.

What the refusal does

The sale is closed and the horse leaves the market: its owner gets it back free, and will be able to offer it some other way, at a fixed price or at auction.

Nothing is debited, on either side. A refusal costs nothing and has no consequence on your account.

Should one refuse?

It is not compulsory: a reservation you leave aside expires of itself at its deadline, and the horse then returns to its owner in the same way.

But refusing does a service. As long as the reservation runs, the seller cannot offer that horse to anybody else — and they are waiting for your answer. A clear refusal gives them a free hand at once; seven days of silence leave them in doubt.

And if the reservation interests you but the price seems high to you, there is a third way: do not refuse straight away, send the seller a message. The price of a reserved sale can be changed.
