List of owners

The horse's ownership history: who has owned it, and since when. From the most recent to the oldest, and each name leads to its card.

A read-only window, and one of the shortest in the game. It is nevertheless worth opening before a purchase.

What it tells you

How many times the horse has changed hands. A horse resold four times in six months has something disappointing about it: each of its owners tried it and then got rid of it. Conversely, a horse that has known only its breeder is a horse people kept.

Whom you are buying it from. The seller appears at the top of the list. His card will tell you whether he is a settled player or an account passing through.

How long it has been around. The date of the first owner is, in practice, that of its birth.

Two things to know

A clan appears under its name, with no link to a member's card: a horse given to a clan has no individual owner during that time. See Give a horse.

This history disappears on the horse's final retirement, along with its genetics and its medals. It can therefore only be read during its lifetime — one more reason to look at it at the moment of purchase rather than afterwards.
