What I call the ‘backend’ is the programme that runs continuously on the server to perform calculations (race results, automatic race creation, payment of maintenance fees, etc.). I’m currently migrating the backend from the old version to the new one, bit by bit. As far as you’re concerned, you shouldn’t notice anything different (that’s the aim – it’s supposed to be the same thing, just using the new technology), but if you do notice anything odd, this is where you should report it. In particular, for the first time, maintenance fees and any horse entries that this may involve will be processed using the new version tomorrow morning. I have also made one change to this new version: in the event of horses being seized from clans, they will now be put up for sale exclusively to one of the clan’s owners, rather than being automatically retired.
In addition, I have set up the page for converting ‘Kdo’ points into sulkies or subscriptions.
