Medals

The medals awarded during a month. It is not a ranking strictly speaking, but the competitions' record of achievement: who has been distinguished, for what, and when.

Reading a line

  • Medal: the medal's wording, chosen by whoever created it.
  • Colour: gold, silver or bronze.
  • Recipient: a medal can go to a horse, to a player or to a clan. That is the winner, and their name leads to their card.
  • Competition: the event that awarded it.
  • Date.

The most recent are displayed first.

Where medals come from

From competitions, organised by volunteer players, and from cup finals, whose first three receive gold, silver and bronze.

A medal is therefore the only distinction in the game that is neither bought nor worked out: it is won in an event, and it stays attached to its winner for ever. That is what makes it the most sought-after reward — a record of medals is worth more, in the players' eyes, than a total of earnings.

The filters

By horse's name, to follow a champion's record. Or by displaying only your medals, or those of your clan — the quickest way of finding yours again without going through the list.

The month is chosen as well: the medals of a past competition stay consultable.

To go further

A horse's medals also appear on its card, by the Medals button: see A horse's card. And for the rankings in figures, see Players, Horses and Clans.
