Payment received
The page the payment provider brings you back to after the operation. It has no menu entry: you arrive here, you do not go here.
Three possible outcomes
Payment Confirmation. The payment is recorded. Depending on the method used, a note tells you what comes next — PayPal, for instance, announces the acknowledgement by email and reminds you that the details of the transaction can be consulted in your PayPal account.
Payment Cancellation. You interrupted the operation at the provider's end. Nothing has been debited and nothing credited: you may start again whenever you like.
Failed Payment. The operation did not go through. If your account has nevertheless been debited, write to us: this page says so, and that is the right reflex rather than trying again.
The important point: the credit is not immediate
This page confirms that the payment has gone, not that the sulkies have arrived. The two are deliberately separate: the credit is made when the provider confirms receipt to our servers, by a message of its own.
In practice this is very quick for a card or online-account payment, and slower for a bank transfer — three to four working days — or for a cheque, the time it takes to arrive and be banked.
So do not worry at seeing your balance unchanged as you leave here. If nothing has arrived after a reasonable delay, your Account statement will confirm it — the entry appears under a Shop account — and an internal message will reach us.
For the purchase pages themselves, see Buy sulkies and Buy subscription.
